Michael Andre, Owner.  Originally from Illinois, I moved to North Carolina in 2005 to find "greener" grass on the other side of the proverbial fence.  What I found was an opportunity for Clean Air Lawn Care and all of the benefits it offers to both myself and my community.  My formal training is in research and forensic science, but I have always had a passion for the outdoors and its opportunities here in our great state.  When not mowing grass, you can find me knee deep in a trout stream, playing with my two dogs, Pike and Boone, or watching college football with my friends and family.

We are committed to beautifully groomed lawns. We offer weekly service for residential lawns and commercial grounds. The core of our service is weekly solar powered mowing, organic fertilization programs, and irrigation minimization management.

Mowing - our service includes mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, mulching, fall clean-ups, and spring clean-ups.

Treatment - our service includes weed control rocks beds, parking lots, lawn and bed fertilization, and pre-emergent treatment. This ensures your yard is beautiful and safe for your children, pets, and waterways.

Irrigation - our service includes sprinkler blowouts, and quarterly irrigation control adjustments.

Environmentally Clean

We use clean electric and biodiesel powered equipment for lawn mowing and landscape maintenance that is run on renewable energy. Our electric equipment is charged during the day by solar panels mounted on our trucks and overnight with wind power. Any emissions associated with powering our biodiesel equipment or driving our trucks are offset with verified vehicle emissions offsets purchased from Carbonfund.org. This reduces our mowing services net emissions to zero. We've also taken our commitment to being green a step further by offsetting our emissions company-wide, making us a carbon-neutral company from top to bottom!

We're also committed to educating our customers and the public on sustainable lawn care.

Because we're electric, our equipment is noticeably quiet. The Department of Interior's Green Seal report estimates electric lawn mowers cut noise emissions by 50-75%. This aspect is great for neighbors, working environments, napping children, and enjoying your day.
